All New Jersey registered, diesel powered, motor vehicles with a registered GVW (gross vehicle weight) of 18,000 lbs. and above are required to be tested for diesel emissions by a licensed diesel emission inspection facility within 90 days of their month of registration renewal.
VEHICLES WHICH PASS THE EMISSION TEST WILL BE ISSUED AN INSPECTION STICKER VALID FOR ONE YEAR.
